Smile More In Life Everyday 2025 Gala Returns to Oheka Castle to Break Barriers: Mental Health for All
Onto our third annual gala, this year The Smile More In Life Everyday Gala presented by Keep Smiling Therapy brought joy, inspiration, and unforgettable moments to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
The Third Annual Smile More In Life Everyday Gala held by S.M.I.L.E. Inc. took place on May 8th, 2025 at the magnificent Oheka Castle. Welcoming over 250 attendees, including mental health professionals, business experts, community advocates, and dedicated entrepreneurs, this year's event exceeded all expectations, delivering joy, inspiration, and unforgettable memories.
A Memorable Welcome
Guests were warmly greeted on a red carpet during happy hour, where they were treated like celebrities and interviewed by Ashlee Brown, Journalist and Media Host (@ashleebrown.mov). The interviews covered a range of topics, including “Why is mental health important to you?” “What keeps you smiling?” and “What inspired you to attend tonight?”
Following this, attendees were invited to the second floor to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and the captivating entertainment of a harpist, live singer, Tyler Gianchetti (@giantcheddar), a live painting by Ria (@artist_ria) which highlighted the personal struggles we encounter in our daily lives.
The Main Ceremony
As the main ceremony commenced, Eric Keith, Founder of The Quintessential Gentleman (@itserickeith), welcomed the guests with gracious words. He set the stage for an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating achievements and advocating for mental health awareness.
Following Erik's introduction, board members Dr. Asia Masson-Hunter and Christopher Leon took the spotlight to announce and recognize the esteemed honorees of the night. Their recognition highlighted the incredible contributions made by individuals towards mental health and community support.

The atmosphere became even more electrifying when Chanell was ushered onto the stage by the vibrant beats of The Blue Angels Drumline. In her address, Chanell eloquently spoke about the evening's theme, "Breaking Barriers: Access for All," emphasizing the importance of mental health and the collective purpose to ensure accessibility and support for everyone. The evening concluded with an energetic dance floor and a delightful dessert room.
